Hand engraved details make this vintage-look engagement ring feel like a family heirloom |
This setting can be ordered in yellow, white or rose gold as well as platinum. I say go for platinum – a strong metal which will help preserve the delicate details and pave on this ring for generations to come.

Choose an Asscher cut diamond from James Allen’s collection – like this 1.22ct beauty. Click for details. |
If you have your heart set on an Asscher diamond I urge you to only buy online from James Allen. Unlike Blue Nile, and other online jewelers, James Allen is the only online jeweler with patented technology which allows you to fully rotate and zoom in on each stone they offer. When it comes to the intricate stepped cut of an asscher, nothing makes up for seeing the stone with your own eyes.
From each individual diamond product page you can also view the stone’s GIA certificate and initiate a Live chat – or “Diamond Inspection” with one of their certified gemologists – day or night!
So here are the details on my version on Pippa’s ring coming in at $11,660 that I just constructed at James Allen. I went for the 1.22 ct diamond but this setting will work with a diamond anywhere from 0.75 to 1.5 carats and the substantial halo will give even a stone on the smaller side substantial finger coverage.
Go ahead…make your own. We can dream!
