Design Your Own Designer ring
When Monique L’Hullier, famed wedding dress designer known for whimsical details paired, with elegant sophistication teamed up with Blue Nile to create a line of engagement rings, we knew this could only bring good things. Enter, this baguette halo setting with a mix of rectangular and round diamonds comprising the geometric double-row halo surrounding a round center stone.
I’ve said this before with halo settings….a little goes a long way. Your center stone does not need to be huge to get a ton of impact. And in this case, with 2 rows of halo diamonds, that’s certainly the case.
Let’s take a look at this ring from all angles:
A Baguette and Round Diamond Halo
The unique octagonal halo of this ring has loads of wow factor. But that did not stop this shopper from adding a stunning 1.35 ct round diamond with D color, VVS2 clarity, and Ideal cut. The halo setting itself has 16 baguette and 16 round diamonds plus another 14 pave set diamonds in the band for a total setting diamond weight of 2/3 carat. With this many small stones, a platinum setting is the way to go. The strong metal should keep these sparklers in place for years of enjoyment.
See below for all the stats on this gorgeous ring and then click to customize your own. The best part of the Blue Nile “Recently Purchased” ring page is that you can easily click directly to the setting AND to a diamond search to find you diamonds similar to the one used in the Build-Your-Own ring pictured. Copying this style has never been easier!
